Some Other Rad Projects

Wow, I left out an essential part of October’s newsletter: some other excellent Mothership projects funding right now as part of Mothership Month 2025! With Beehiiv’s 12 hour post limit, you’ll likely be getting this a bit later than the monthly newsletter.

The theme this Mothership Month is Prospero’s Dream, the setting for the lauded first party module, A Pound of Flesh. Mothership Month is a group crowdfunding event, headed up by Tuesday Knight Games (the creators of Mothership). Some projects (like ours) have also incorporated some easter egg crossovers between modules, and set up cross-collaboration rewards. For instance, if you back both Sunlit Path AND Extrajudicial Warfare, you’ll get two bonus pamphlets. All of the modules funding right now truly have something for everyone though. That said, let me highlight a few in particular I’m thrilled about.

There’s a reason we partnered with Corey of Extrajudicial Warfare for our cross-collab incentive. Not only are they a rad creator, but they’ve got something going here that I can’t wait to get to the table. Multiple memorable factions weave together in a gang war, pulling players into the middle of it all.

Hunters is another project I’m very excited for! The artwork teased so far is insanely good. The premise puts characters in a “most dangerous game” type situation, being hunted by the rich across the abandoned Choke. With loads of locations, NPCs and hunters, I can see this one being used across multiple sessions.

The collaborative project Flatline on the Blocks has a ton of folks I was lucky enough to work with on Devil’s Due (which will be fulfilling in the very near future!). The scope of this project is ambitious: 13 writers, 20 blocks, as well as factions and mechanics to tie it all together. This was an easy back for me — these folks are endlessly talented.
