The Other Side of Sunny

Howdy folks!

It’s been a busy time since I last checked in! Hecate Cassette Archive was finally released to the public (you can snag a copy HERE or HERE if you haven’t yet!). It’s been exciting seeing backers get this in hand. I’ve also been plugging away at the vampire adventure I’m writing for SpicyTuna’s BLACKTHORN. I finally ran a playtest of the system and my adventure yesterday! Folks, let me tell ya, I was excited about Blackthorn prior to this, but I am ecstatic now (and already thinking about another adventure and/or hack). If your group likes shared narratives and pulp horror, this is the game for you.

What else is new in the TTRPG world? MeatCastle is having a 50% off digital sale and 25% off physical sale… but only until midnight TODAY!

ChrisAir of 5 Million Worlds Press has a new module crowdfunding soon: TWISTING UNSEEN. It’s described as being inspired by Half-Life, BLAME! and Pandorum. I cannot wait to see how it all comes together, and will be backing day 1!

Onto music stuff! Ghost Tropic is still going strong every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 9pm PST. Past episodes can be streamed HERE. I’m taking a bit of break from DJing while I take a music supervision class (hire me pls!), but you can still catch me on air in the meantime.

Of course, I didn’t forget the free playlist. This one starts with a David Ruffin track I have been jamming on repeat, as well as a new Cole Pulice track I’m in love with. Everything in between is pretty good too!

Lastly, the Mothership free release promised last month. When I started this newsletter I envisioned having all sorts of free beta releases and such to share, but the reality is I’ve had to dedicate a significant amount of extra time coming up with these. Moving forward, the “freebie” will no longer be monthly, in the interest of releasing quality stuff and not overloading my schedule.

This one is another character creation table, wherein a player rolls for a background, as well as a pro and con for the background. I think down the line I’ll expand this and the past jobs tables to at least 20 entries. That said, let me know if you get these to the table — any feedback is greatly appreciated and welcome!
